Join Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park and the Blackstone Watershed Collaborative for a FREE guided hike at the Blackstone Gorge. This unique geologic feature offers scenic views in one of the most intriguing and picturesque spots in the Blackstone River Valley. Park Rangers and educators from the Collaborative will highlight how history, nature, and recreation meet. Discussion will focus on the Collaborative's work to provide for a healthier and more accessible river and our vision plan for the river, Mish(kittacuck)sepe Restored.
This 1.2-mile hike is on a well-maintained trail but be prepared for rocks and exposed tree roots. Sturdy footwear and water are recommended. Participants should be in good health and able to stand for extended periods of time. The hike will take about 90 minutes.
